About us
Essex Turfmaster Direct was established in 2001, as part of product range at small farm shop and garden centre near Braintree in Essex, selling turf to the local community.
Our quality cultivated turfing business continued to grow with many recommendations and business received through word of mouth and so in time we decided to sell our garden centre and move to Thaxted in Essex. We now concentrate on the distribution of quality turf, topsoil, grass seed and bark throughout Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and other parts of the UK.

Our delivery service
Our domestic market continues to grow and we can supply turf to anywhere in the UK. If customers require over 50 sq metres, we can provide a next day delivery.
On smaller deliveries, we can use our own transport when travelling within a 20 mile radius of Thaxted.
We also provide services to the commercial sector supplying turf, top soil and grass seed to developers, builders, landscapers etc.
